So. If you get the TD and miss the 2 pt. It still comes down to stopping them to get the ball back and have to move to get a FG. The math is really not different. Getting 3 points vs 6 points didn't change what would have needed to happen after in having to get the stop and the ball back. Getting 6 meant the next score would only need to be 3 to win vs getting the FG meant it would have been needing a TD to tie with a lot less time and likely 70ish yards to go.
Howler
Notice how much our WRs, aside from scantling, struggled to get separation today? It's been a problem for a long time.

Would have made it a "must go for it" 4thdown.. Watch again.. JPP was 7-8 yds to his left and he would be running right, Suh was chasing him on a line 3-4 from behind... watched both angles like 10-12x now.. GHARMON9
Bucs Didnt win this game. We lost it. I got to give props, their dline was on our ***. Their safety Whitehead is what we need. Someone willing to put a hat on hat. Godwin killed us. . With all that said. Aaron Jones was complete liability today. Our WR s dropping passes they normally dont. While Rodgers IMO had a good game he had tunnel vision. (Lazard was wide open on that 3rd down when he threw to Adams in the back of the endzone, and Lazard was running wild deep when he decided to take the underneath to Tonyan. Tho Shaquille was coming for the sack) Kevin King... He has to go. That play before half time was. Unbelievable. Ive never seen a DB not even attempt to find a WR in a hail Mary situation. I think we were in a cover 3 look. Because Jaire bailed immediately. Im DONE with him. That" coverage" TD to Evans... Who taught him this? Then the play that sealed the game... Clear P.I even though it wasnt called all game. Wagner and Turner got their ish pushed in today.

Leader
Matt Schneidman - The Packers *really* missed David Bakhtiari today. //// Yup. 77 had a rough day.

thrILL!
This is on MLF too. You have to go for it on 4th down even tho the previous 3 plays gave no confidence to converting on 4th down. And then converting again on the 2pt try. But you still have to try. If you don’t convert on 4th down, you have them pinned deep with 3 timeouts and the 2 min warning. Force a punt and have a final drive to tie it up and go to OT. If you do convert on 4th down but fail to convert the 2pt try, you kick off and try to hold them to a 3 & out with your 3 timeouts and the 2 min warning to help you out. I’m curious to hear what Rodgers thought about the decision to kick. He struggled that series tho.

The D dug us a hole no doubt but the O had every chance to win this. Rodgers made some poor decisions in this game, mixed with a bunch of good ones. He is not perfect. Not opportunistic commentary at all It was smoke & mirrors and partially attributable due to playing in the North. Lafleur schemed open WRs with the dominant running game and misdirection, leading to to many open looks on the backside. The wr group is below average. Always has been. deltarich87
Pettine, King, Aaron Jones, Linsley, Preston Smith, Kirksey, Lowry....expecting all of these guys to be gone this offseason. Maybe they find a way to keep one of Jones/Linsley somehow. That would be nice. Rest can go without a moments notice
