If the Broncos are interested in Jordan Love, that trade would work.   For Rodgers, its laughable.

I’m not really all that interested in what Rodger’s thinks at this point.  Since it would “appear” that GB seems pretty happy with Love, would GB even entertain the idea of a trade like that to bring in a Bridge QB while Love still develops, and get some quality draft picks in the process?

Well of course the Broncos would want to get him for nothing.  Agree on our side it looks ridiculous.

The "Rodgers wants Gute fired" part of this is the piece I can't buy into.  Rodgers has an ego to be sure, but he's not an idiot.  He would know that making a demand to fire Gute would make him look like a self-absorbed lunatic.  That goes completely against the image he has so carefully cultivated for years.  It makes no sense for Rodgers to make that demand, let alone leak it.

Agree, especially after he ran MM out of town.  The optics aren't good there, but I doubt he said it.

For me to even consider a trade prior to 2021 season, the compensation would need to include-

3 first round picks, another pick swap to guarantee another top 100 selection in 2022, and a player like Chubb or Juedy.

Yes you did totally out of context.

I removed the entirety of your comment other than the portion about Gute getting canned and said I dont see that happening.

I should also add that I would think the Broncos would consider this cost prohibitive and that’s why we aren’t going to see anything get done.

I dont think Rodgers is going anywhere before next offseason, but my starting point for Denver is:

Surtain, Juedy and 3 #1s.

Ideally, you want a AFC West Denver vs Las Vegas bidding war.   After Carr fails again,  Gruden will be all in on Rodgers or lose him to the dreaded Broncos.

The Perfect Storm.

I have a hard time believing that we'd get a package like that.  If Rodgers isn't extended and he's not moved after June 1 I think Green Bay is in for a really rough season.  I don't think you go through something like this with the leader of your football team without MAJOR issues in the locker room.  We all seen what happened in Pittsburgh when Leveon Bell was going through his contract dispute, they imploded.  If that happens they'll be begging to unload 12.  I doubt they get a package that's even close to what Detroit got for Stafford.

I agree doubt he said it also.  Think it is his agent trying his level best to get the Packers to trade Rodgers by being the biggest pain in the arse as possible.

I'd ask for more than that ... (3) 1sts, (2) 2nd's and (2) quality young players.

The only thing that makes any sense at all to me is that maybe talks got a little heated and Rodgers lost his composure a little bit.  Maybe he said something in the heat of the moment that got leaked/twisted into Rodgers wanting Gute fired.  For the married among us, sort of like when your words get twisted by your spouse during an argument.  Things can get ugly pretty quickly.

If Rodgers wants to go to Vegas, it's not about football or personalities.  It's about either "wanting to live in Vegas" or "wanting to feel powerful".

That's a much worse roster than he's got around him (especially on defense) and a more difficult head coach to work with who wants to run the ball even more.

I'd take 2 firsts 2 seconds and Jeudy. Like you I also doubt there's a haul anybody's willing to pony up though ultimately.

Yah that's pretty pie in the sky.  Think a package similiar to what Det got is about what we should expect. Now that discord is public knowledge it drives down our potential return.  Time to trade him would have been well before the draft.

*IF* you want a bridge QB, dont rule out Derek Carr and a deal with the Raiders.   He was Adams QB as Fresno St.  No idea what Adams would think of that.

Only way GB trades AR to LV is for controlling interest in the Sands Hotel / Casino :)

Forget that small market stuff......we'd be talking deep pockets now!
