I'm not sure being in an easy division would've helped you all that much in the last few decades with maybe a few seasons as exceptions. I mean... someone from the AFC South is required to "sneak in". IDK why I'm defending the Titans in this thread, but they did pull off the 1 seed while being among the most injured. You can't fault them too much for the ridiculous close loss to the Bengals without doing the same for the 2 AFC West teams that also fell to that.
