Nah

theyre just too good.

I still don’t get how Kelce gets open every game. Like how

It's a mix of things. Against man, he's just too talented. Against zone, the dude is just insanely football smart. Posts and crossing routes that a lot of guys will run all the way to the sideline, Kelce will run until he hits a hole in the zone and just stop. Same with stick or curl routes. He won't run his curl to where the defender is, even if the play calls for it, he'll shift to wherever the opening is. And he and Mahomes are so in sync that they feel those zones the same way. Most route runners aren't going to be given that much freedom, because it's asking for disaster. If they misread, you get INTs and incompletions. And we do sometimes too. Mahomes missed Kelce wide open on a deep cross to the left against Jacksonville. It wasn't a bad throw, it was Kelce and Mahomes reading the place for Kelce to stop differently. They're also really good at having him pretend to block just long enough for guys to look away from him.

I can't believe Kelce is able to play at this level and move they way he does at this age with his play style.

Trying to answer this in a neutral way and not from the POV of someone who has always thought the Chiefs are the bad guys… the one real negative I can think of is that there’s definitely an arrogance within the team and the fanbase. Probably deservedly, in fairness, but it’s bad enough seeing them dominate the division/conference without having to hear all about it constantly as well.

I can understand why they don’t have the same seemingly universal dislike that the Patriots did for the majority of the last 20 years, though. They haven’t been winning for as long, Reid is more likeable than Belichick, Mahomes is more likeable than Brady, and they play a fun style of football.

No. The Patriots were 'villians' not just because of the success they achieved, but because of the rule breaking they employed to achieve that level of success. The NFL did it's job to sweep all damning evidence under the rug and destroy for they knew it would shake the foundations of the sport if the truth came to light.

Until the Chiefs blatently cheat - and flaunt it - they won't be the 'bad guys'.

They are moving in that direction, especially with all of ther "no one believed in us" and "no one even thought we'd make the playoffs" nonsense.

It’s not nonsense good look at Bart Scott’s early season comments. I know Barts and idiot but acting like it wasn’t said is also dumb, many talking heads had them third in their division at the start of the year.

Is that the same Bart Scott who claimed Joe Burrow got the red dot from the ravens defense and was in jeopardy, only to see Joe throw for almost 600 yards in their next meeting?  And Bart Scott isn't "everybody".  So yes it is nonsense.
