GDT Week 1: Packers at Baers

I don't think they put up more than 13 against our defense. So that's my cap unless they find a defensive or ST score/big play.

Could see our offense have to fight for it, but think our running game is strong enough to build a couple scoring drives and our passing game has obvious big play potential.

20-13 GB

Only one missed XP? I’ll take that!

The Packers cannot afford another slow start to the season. The last two week one games they were outscored 61-10. Absolutely pathetic.

I think MLF has obviously taken a different approach to try and change that, more physical and more conditioning in TC and having the starters play a good amount in the preseason.

This team better be ready to ******* thump on Sunday. The bears have been the Packers' blowup doll for the better part of the past 30 years. They sense blood in the water with Rodgers leaving and will be playing like this is their Superbowl (because it is lol).

A few of my keys to winning the game:

-win the TO battle, Fields is usually good for 1 or 2 turnovers a game

-pound the ******* rock, we are far superior in the trenches on both sides, use it to our advantage

-play action, motion, slow the game down for Love

-contain Fields and YAC plays

-stop the run and make the QB play QB, Fields is horrible when his first read is covered

Not winning the Super Bowl this year, so all I care about is good defense.

If the Bears score 25 points or more in this game, Barry shouldn’t be fired, he should just be one of those things where it’s announced he’s not returning. Same as LaFleur, Gute and Murphy.

Jordan Love will never win another Super Bowl.

The Bears have to be +2 in turnovers or Fields has to go off running the ball for us to lose. I think we are clearly the better team.

Quarterback - Packers - TBD

Running Backs - Packers - agree

WRs - Push (Packers are still unproven) - agree

TEs - Push - agree

O-Line - Packers big time - agree

D-line - Packers - TBD

LBs - Bears slightly - TBD

EDGE rushers - Packer big time - agree

S - Bears - agree

CB - Packers slightly - agree

Specialist - Bears - agree

Special Teams - Bears. - agree

In theory we blow them out. Concerned about our week 1 starts in the past. Hoping our guys playing in preseason helps alleviate that issue.

A couple of these are really just unknown right now. ST may be our downfall if the coverage units are not top notch. But that too is TBD yet

Nice that the game's getting national TV coverage. This year's gonna be a bit more hit & miss.

Except where there's regional coverage...like here in the PNW.  We'll be stuck with Seattle vs LA.

Thank goodness for the internet stream with Larrivee and McCarren.

Giving GB an advantage at QB is a stretch. At best it's an unknown.

CHI definitely has an advantage at WR with Moore, Mooney and Claypool.

Would not trade our QB and WRs for theirs. For the future or this one game.

Did you see Fields in preseason? Also, would you trade our group for their group straight up?

You both have twisted what he said.
