Yes, obviously it's not an upgrade or a good scenario. But rolling into the game with 4 active WRs and one coming off a fresh hamstring injury (Wicks) and 3/4 never playing in a NFL game is not a good plan. Melton may need to be a consideration.

I'm sure if they're both out they bring up a PS WR, no doubt there.

He was a limited participant.

Hammy Watkins passed the torch to Watson before he left the team. Thank you for your service. We're getting a Malik Heath legacy game on Sunday

This is all a ploy to get Chicago to only game plan for the run game and neither wr is out

Is that proving the point? Limited hammy is not excellent news

Wasn't trying to prove a point. The Packers have a history with injuries and proceeding with caution. It would be great with Wicks out there. If Doubs and Watson are out, it's going to be a heavy dose of running with Jaden Reed and Musgrave being the primary targets.

Gonna be a real ugly game.  Either the bears are gonna run all over us and blow us out, or it'll be a low scoring affair that GB should win.

Expect a fair bit of mistakes from our pass catchers and a coaching staff that is scared to use them to their potential.

Defense needs to win this one.

Let's not have Love start his career as the guy without Watson and Doubs. We need at least one of those guys to go.

If there is one plus to that, it will be that our high draft picks Reed and Musgrave will get to prove their weight in gold, and I have high hope for Musgrave.

On the downside, LaFleur gets a silly built in excuse if the offense looks awful even though he should be put on the front line and taking heavy heat for it.

On another note, man we have gotta put the pressure on both Gute and LaFleur to bring home the bacon by the end of 2024.  Getting sick and tired of opening the season on the road.  Win the Superbowl by 2024 and the NFL will be forced to open the season Thursday night in Lambeau along with the draft.  That is a must as Green Bay is way overdue for a Thursday night opener and holds the record for the most exciting one in NFL history.

Couple soft tissue injuries .. ridiculous!

Agree .. not sure why these occur with the medical/training staffs pro teams have.  I get it that crap happens but the Packers wr's certainly have more than their share of soft tissue problems.
