And I can't remember the last time we threw a back shoulder fade. We did have a cool little shovel pass earlier in the season, but overall I'd agree that our red zone plays are lacking. Lacking most everything.

This was not a great offensive performance. 0 turnovers, 0 sacks, doubled up on TOP, 48% conversion of 3/4th downs, 400 yards, almost 80 plays. We lacked explosive plays, but this was the kind of offensive performance that wins you most football games.

We don't lose when Rodgers is content to run the ball and dink and dunk his way to victory. We lose when we fail to take what the defense is giving us. Kudos to Rodgers for following the methodical game plan.
Scoremore
Tell you Amari Rodgers has been a huge disappointment. He's been terrible on teams and a complete non-factor as a WR. Kid looks slow and not very shifty. It's early he's looking like a bust to me. I'd take Swerve over him in a nano second.

If he just caught the dang ball on PR he'd overall be fine there. Punters are too good to let anything past the 8 go. Their guys will have a chance to down it. On offense when hes had chances looks like he's a tough runner. Just needs to catch that Rodgers brain wave. Wouldn't write off his career just yet. Kid has talent and I feel like he's got football IQ for days. He just needs some time.

When you go doghouse for running a flat 1 yard different than the QB wants, not necessarily how youve practiced it, things can get tough. Not saying Rodgers is wrong.. But yeah theres levels to this ****.

Sometimes those games have come from our OL not being 100% and the offense getting the ball out quicker. Eventually you run into the TB defense in the playoffs so you need to make some longer developing plays, at that point you better hope your depth can hold up. That's the premise, but I wonder if it's actually true? His RAS was mediocre, one of the lowest by a Packers draft pick in years, no? He's not fast, for a receiver or return specialist or a jet-sweep threat or whatever. His on-the-field speed has looked as JAG as his clock time. He doesn't look like he's going to outrun any safeties or opponent special-teamers. Kinda JAG runner? His hands haven't looked notably talented in the punt game. He's a short man, I'm not sure his hands are big or unusually configured to be unusually good? College scouting reports were average in terms of how good his hands were. In the punt game he hasn't looked either quick, or fast, or shifty. Again, kinda JAG. Obviously as a pass target he's always going to be a short-radius guy, that's not going to change. He may eventually optimize his skills as a situational short-swing-pass receiver, bubble screen or whatever. But, he doesn't look like he's got any particularly noteworthy explosiveness or play-making ability. Am I missing something that you're seeing? Kinda seems like Just a Guy.

Punt hands dont equate to pass hands. Just totally different ball to handle. As a jet sweep guy you dont need 4.3. find a way to set up your blocks. Most of the top RB's arent 4.3 guys. His speed is fine, similar to Deebo. Cobbs not running 4.45 anymore. Just has to make his home, he's a tough runner, very solid balance bounces off some tackles and has start stop skills. JAG speed doesn't make a receiver not great. A lot of the top guys aren't 4.3 dudes. Amari doesn't even have to be great to be a hit. From what I'm seeing he had 1 drop in college. Short radius dudes succeed ALL THE TIME in the league. You're currently not seeing ANYTHING, so I dont know how anybody is making any judgements of NFL Amari. With Cobb around, the need for Rodgers in the offense is blunted. They're a matching pair - Cobb's just more experienced at this stage. I will admit that he frightens me a bit on punt returns. He just doesnt seem comfortable or approaching things with surety. I'm not looking for long returns. Just dont **** it up.
Leader
Ian Rapoport - Packers QB Aaron Rodgers does not plan to have surgery on his toe at this time, per me and Tom Pelissero. At this time is key. The hope is during the bye it will heal and improve.

I know this is statistically happening, but I just get a feeling that we take a lot of downfield shots on 3rd and <5 yards. It seems like we see quite a few first downs left on the field because we take that flier down the sideline. I can't back that up with statistics, just a frustrated feeling watching it happen. As much as Rodgers checks down, it doesn't feel like it happens on third down very much.
