I think the boomers are getting a bad rep on that one.  It is the aptly named "Silent Generation" that still has tickets and won't make noise.

If a boomer was singing Matchbox 20, I would tell them to sit down and be quiet.

I go to baseball games with a group of baby boomers.  They are plenty loud.  Not as loud as me, but I am an instigating jerk!

Oh be nice, they're just a little unwell.

I just won't ever understand someone who goes to a game who wants to sit on those benches for 3+ hours. Your recliner is way more comfy and a much better view honestly. Damn olds.

It's an interesting thing....I read more generational references here...a football message board...than anywhere else on the internet.

You mean a place that talks about the intricacies of a topic delve further into a subject than other, more surface level, sites?

It's not like it's not on the topic of football and why Lambeau isn't a top home venue.

Get off my lawn.

Now if you don't mind, I need to get going to catch the seniors early bird special at the Golden Corral.

From a competitive advantage standpoint, I'm all about this. Playing a road game against the Eagles in Brazil (which frankly will probably be a better fan atmosphere for the Packers than at Lambeau field), versus playing in Philly is pretty significant.

I'd rather make a 2.5 hr flight than a 9hr flight please and thank you. There's nothing advantageous about grinding through camp and then having to get on a plane and play in Brazil, and having no bye the next week...

The alternative is playing at Philly. The London game was a home game. That's like comparing apples to bricks.

Wearing your home jerseys almost 4K miles away from home isn’t exactly a home game. That must be the bricks part lol.

Also, ain't scared to play the Eagles in Philly.

They have 2 weeks off between the last preseason game and the start of the regular season. They're not grinding that much. And they'd have at least 9 days between Games 1 and 2. I don't think it would be too bad.

Until Jaire adventures into a favela and we lose the quirky little guy.
