Kampfgeist
We used 190 in the trade up to get Evan Williams and we still have 168 left in the trade down from 41. Trade for Rodgers is still not complete correct?

Important to leverage your leverage into increasingly smaller but still significantly petty amounts of leverage, turning the AR pick into a whole team of company men with stringent anti-conspiracy agendas.

spilltray
His rookie year was promising. Guys do get over periods of bad injury luck sometimes. It could be argued we gave up on Hayward too early. If he's physically in good shape he could be a legit lockdown CB still.

I'm surprised they haven't taken a corner .. just doesn't seem to be on their radar at all. I guess they must feel pretty good about that room. Chili
Engerland! Engerland! Engerland! Don't understand why an international pathway guy needs to be drafted.
Kampfgeist
Any cheaper vet FA corners still on the market? The Andre Dillard type for DB? Just wondering if they still have that oppty to add some comp depth before training camp other than just UDFA.

If you think the athletic potential is there and don't wanna fight with others to make him an UDFA, why not take a late-round flier?

Refugee
Gute is a starry eyed optimist. The next Tramon and Sammy Shields are walking through that door.

It's probably for the same reason we have a draft to begin with; to prevent unassailable monopolies on future pipelines of NFL-Caliber talent. Chili
7 picks next year in 2025 draft. Not expecting any comp picks considering how active we were in free agency. (McKinney & Jacobs). We didn't trade down to get next year's pick either. Surely Gute will not be happy with just 7 picks. Any player trade candidates? Newman? a WR?
