Agreed. They've made some nice moves over the last 2 years and really bolstered they're roster adding to their young talent that was in the pipeline... They're also the only NL central team that has arguably made any significant upgrades this offseason without subtracting too much...

He can play second or third, which means he'll play whatever position Carter Kieboom is less apt at playing. He cant possibly be any worse than Dozier last season

Kmart128
German was suspended 63 games... that is a bit ridiculous. The guy was suspended end of last season and the post season already. If figured hed miss somewhere about 20 games to start the year but 63 come on... that 81 games total (including post season)... there has never been a suspension for domestic violence on a player that hasnt been arrested. The biggest punishment for a player of similar charges was just 40 games. This is more than double for the same scenerio.
flyguy1609
http://www.startribune.com/twins-likely-out-of-the-bidding-for-josh-donaldson/566722402/?refresh=true Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that the Twins have "grown pessimistic" about their chances of signing free agent third baseman Josh Donaldson. Donaldson's reps continue to push their asking price -- reportedly up to around $110 million over four seasons -- and it sounds like the Twins are ready to back away from the bargaining table. With the Nationals signing three other infielders in recent days, that could leave just the Braves -- who were the favorites all along to re-sign the 34-year-old slugger. flyguy1609
https://www.mlb.com/news/angels-indians-mike-clevinger-trade-talk Jon Paul Morosi of MLB Network reports the Angels have had discussions with the Indians about a trade for Mike Clevinger. Some preliminary discussion seems to be all that has taken place to this point, with Morosi adding that "there has not been active dialogue in recent days." Per Morosi's sources, the Indians (rightly) asked for top prospect Jo Adell in any talks, part of the reason they stalled. Adell has a bright future but Clevinger is already a star, posting a 2.71 ERA with 169 strikeouts in 126 innings last season. The Indians have been discussing the 28-year-old with a few teams this offseason but none of the talks have gone far, given Clevinger's value and the sky-high asking price for the right-hander. tom cody
Clevenger's not the best starter in the world but he's not the worst option for the Angels to go after to fix their pitching woes.
