We signed Fant to a 3yr deal. Unsure how the move will play out but that’s the direction we will be heading in. We also have last years 3rd round RT Edoga who we are high on apparently. (I can also see us addressing this with our 1st round pick)

Signed Desir who we went straight after once cut from the Colts. We also have a promising young corner in Bless Austin. Would like to see us sign another vet cornerback before the draft. Added to that we resigned one of our best players from last year (Poole) to man the slot.

Resigned JJ to a very team friendly deal but without doubt need a pass rusher opposite him. Griffin, Curry and Clowney have all been hinted at. Trading for Ngakoue would be perfect.

Would like to resign Robby, add him to Crowder and hopefully a rookie and it’s a start. More should be done to surround Darnold with more weapons though.

All this means nothing though because as a Jets fan I understand the general consensus of us sucking. However we are hopeful with our new GM that he can shift the balance and get us respected around the league. That will come with winning ball games though so time will tell.

Jadeveon Clowney believes he’s worth $20 million a year and has his mind set on that number.  He reportedly has a few teams interested and at least a couple of offers on the table.

None of the deals reach the $20 million mark and Clowney has reportedly turned down a $17 million a year offer from the Dolphins.

Yeh cause going out and giving out big contracts in FA has worked out so well for the Jets, especially in recent years.

Im down with the approach Douglas is taking

Yeah, your contracts were light on guarantees, but you still gave out big contracts to guys who don't seem to be any good. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Didn't give out a single big contract. Every player fits what we're trying to do. Every move made sense.

We re-signed our best free agents to 1 year deals outside of Alex Lewis, we needed OL help and signed multiple linemen(similar to Minnesota a couple years back and Buffalo last year but tHoSe MoVeS mAdE sEnSe. Added a good Cornerback to our secondary. We operated free agency how you should.

No, you didn't. You signed a bunch of guys who don't really move the needle. I can't point to a single signing (not counting your re-signings) and say, "There's a quality starter."

EDIT: Connor McGovern is probably the closest thing to that.
