Tannehil is debatable but I think Brady slightly edges out Tannehil. Although Tenn would be crazy to let Tannehil walk for a slight upgrade for two years. Brady's arm velocity hasn't lost much of anything since 2015. He just had the worst WR/TE/RB core in the NFL last season with a average at best offensive line. Dude was Top 3 in the MVP running til like Week 9 when opponents started playing all man on his garbage WRs. Brady at 43 is miles better than Derek Carr and Jameis Winston. Tugboat
I still just really don't see this happening. It's too good a thing to break up for no reason. -For the Patriots...are you really going to do better than Brady for this season? -For Brady...are you really going to land somewhere more likely to go deep and win a SuperBowl than New England with Bill? It just doesn't make any sense for things to break up and end like this.

It's clear they're not going to replace Brady and he's a legend in NE I don't know why he wants to go.
VigilantZombie
Brady, imo, even at 43 is an upgrade over 30 int Jameis Winston
RavensfanRD
He's an upgrade over all three, but I think Winston can still be fixed. I don't get the Tannehill hype at all and Carr is had his time in the sun. I know Hoodie might be a tad salty he had to trade his guy Jimmy G (If the reports were true) just for Brady to up and leave anyway.

Derek Carr is an overglorified Captain Checkdown that completely melts down at the slightest hint of pressure, Winston can't complete a game without a couple of turnovers due to his own stupidiity and Tannehill is 2017 Case Keenum 2.0. lolsurebro
Must be a slow day for football news. Time to rile up the masses with more pointless and ungrounded Brady speculation.

If the Patriots do move on from Brady, it might be for a younger QB such as Bridgewater, who's proven to have recovered from his devastating injury. By doing something like this, NE gets a proven QB and doesn't have to place their annual playoff trips on hold while they draft and groom a rookie QB. St Vince
Tennessee would be a great fit for Brady with that great OL and running game. Titans lack of edge rush was their undoing. Brady with TE and some edge rush help would push Tennessee over the top.

Broncofan
Serious Q - what was the latest date when a Brady extension was announced? I don't ever recall it being 2 weeks prior to FA opening (ok, it's 17 days, but you get the idea). For everyone that says this is the same as in the past, I only ask - weren't the extensions agreed to way ahead of free agency? That's a pretty big difference.
