I doubt it ... there will be more teams interested after they go thru another season with their current crappy QB's.

You're entitled to a very hopeful opinion, but Rodgers will be getting closer to retirement at 39yo, Father Time NEVER loses.

Detroit seems to want to roll with Goff. If not, they would have made a play for a QB in the draft. They had the draft capital and cap space to make something happen.

Goff's deal is a problem this year on the cap. The Lions can move on from him next year after June 1st without too much issue.

Now, I might think Goff sucks and you might think Goff sucks, but Detroit seems content to have him under center at least this year. So trying to devalue the trade when Detroit gets a starting QB in return is somewhat silly.

You DO realize how much money they have tied up in Goff, perhaps they didn't want to pay starting QB money to a guy sitting on the bench.

And you have NO IDEA what you're talking about, Goff's deadcap money, after Jun 1 is still $29MM, next year it does ease but that's why they were paid the premimum trade capital this year.

You parroted what I said to make your point? LOL

Also, Mr. Spellcheck, dead cap is two words not one and premium only has one M!

You think they were paid a 'premium' to 'take' Goff. If Goff were that bad the Lions would have drafted a guy to take over at QB next year. They didn't and seem content to roll with him. Therefore your, 'premium' argument falls flat.

So does the idea that Stafford is 'in the same range as Rodgers!' You are starting to look desperate to make a point.

But then, GB doesn't get their compensation. Do ya care about that ?

Not if it’s not sufficient for trading an MVP that is under contract for three years.  I’d rather call Rodgers bluff.  He going to throw away his career and his legacy because he is mad Kumerow got cut?

Judging from your user name I’m guessing your a Broncos fan trying to convince yourself you can get Rodgers for a 3rd round pick.  Sorry, it’s not going to happen.

Tell that to Tom Brady!

Aaron Rodgers still has an arm, can still run and has all the tools. He's said he wants to play into his forties. You get 5 years. He's 37 years old and into his forties means 41 or 42.

Again, good luck with Teddy Two Gloves and Lock!

Tell that to 44 year old, super bowl winning, Tom Brady.  Rodgers is 37!  He can play another five easily.

Just because they play the same position doesn't mean their longevity is the same, Drew Brees lasted  retired at 42, Peyton Manning at 39....your doing a lousy sales job there, just your opinion.. Brady is the exception, not the rule.

They both outplay Love, so not worried, we'll have  a top 5 defense, young offense. You may get that top 15 draft pick ALL BY YOURSELF.

We've got 6 players rated in the top 100 overall WITHOUT Rodgers! Love will be fine. Right now, you are the 4th best team in your division and you aren't that close to the 3rd best team. So best of luck with that!

You know you don't know what's going to happen.  It's a crap shoot that nobody is sure of so don't pretend anybody knows squat.

Of couse I don't know what's gonna happen, it's a figure of speech. But it surely looks like something like that can happen. There is no way we are getting 3 firsts and 2 seconds or something equivalent to that.

On the other hand, when comparing this possible deal to Stafford's, take into account that Stafford didn't take a public stance against the team, which will decrease Rodgers' value.
