Leveon Bell takes Instagram shot at Andy Reid

For some reason, the 29-year-old RB recently went out of his way to criticize the Super Bowl-winning coach who gave him a chance last year. Rather than ever play for Andy Reid again, Bell wrote, he would "retire first." Granted, the man is not a Chief anymore, but any other team that thought he might have something left to offer is likely having second thoughts now.

I still remember a few specific posters bashing the Steelers for not paying him what he SUPPOSEDLY deserved.

Hmm...why wouldnt you offer huge money to a RB with maturity and durability issues?  😄

I wonder if Bell will settle for a small contract and work as a Darren Sproles type RB. Heavily used in the pass game and situational plays with out getting the  normal carries a RB gets.

At this point, he is going to have to take whats available to him or retire.   He seems to think he is still a feature back.

Shannon Sharpe brought up a couple days ago back in the day when Bell was still with Steelers and wanted to get paid, some of his teammates were critical of him. Shannon said that's a big no no in locker rooms and he had never really seen or heard that before until the Bell situation. Obviously the Steelers and players knew a lot more than most did. Bell may have just retired himself with that comment about Reid

Bell was a system dude who was easily replaced by multiple players.

  • Great O-line
  • Top end QB
  • Great WR with a solid supporting cast of receivers.
  • Good system
  • Wow, he had room to make plays, he must be a star!
    • His signature move was waiting for the Pittsburgh O-line to maul some defenders and then running though empty space.

When NY and KC expected him to have any kind of even average NFL level talent, they quickly found out he did not.

His subpar attitude fits his subpar skillset perfectly.

I remember it being said that him leaving Gase and going to Reid would unlock all this talent.

Nothing happened.

So with the Jets it was Gase(possibly true) but with the Chiefs it was Reid(hmm interesting but doubtful)

Idk Le’Veon, maybe it’s because you were too focused on your music and now you’re blaming everyone else.

I bet Reid told him to pull his pants up and act like a professional at some point and LeVeon Bell took it way too personal. Doubt it was about LeVeon wanting more touches, we all know where he stands on that front. Glad Tyran Mathieu chimed in with his two cents:
