candyman93
So does Tampa Bay win the division by week 12 or no? Tom Brady turned the NFC South into the AFC East. Edited March 21, 2022 by candyman93
swoosh
Love it. If we're going to rebuild, at least let me watch one of my favorite players of all time. Fontenot needs to hit big this year. 8th overall and 4 day two picks. Make 'em count.

notthatbluestuff
Nice guy but he's in ATL as a tank commander, nothing more.

AZ_Eaglesfan
His tenure in Atlanta will securely put him in the backup QB category for the rest of his career. This is just not a good situation for a mediocre QB to land in.

He gambled on FA this year, and then trades happened.
SaveOurSonics
I really like this move for Atlanta. At best you resurrect the potential of a top-10 QB who has shown legitimate signs of life as a starter in the past (a la Tannehill) and at worst he's terrible and you set yourself up to be in a position to draft a guy next year.

Slappy Mc
Not sure why this move is getting so much hate, but I think it's a good situation for Mariotta. Hope they can get some offensive playmakers and having Patterson back means he is almost a shoo-in for 70+ catches.

Guy is as nice as can be.... well, minus the last guy he backed up... but he simply can't stay healthy and really isn't much when he is. He might surprise people for a couple games but he'll get figured out again especially now that his arm is even weaker.
Uncle Buck
That was quick! I think I'd rather have Gardner Minshew than Marcus Mariota. Either that or how about Baker Mayfield? Maybe the Falcons have identified a guy in the draft that they want for their QBOTF. If that's the case, Mariota could do a good job holding things down until the rookie is ready to go.
