Not out of dislike just because it would hit more. I've never liked the trope of bring in a charachter for a short time, make you care, kill. It is lazy and cowardly to get some reaction. No way they go through all this stuff, and survive only to introduce a new character you like and have them die for a cheap feeling. Wasn’t Jason the only one who thought it was a cult doing this, wonder how the news started to report that. Wonder if moving forward Max is gonna have a pronounced limp in both legs. I had the misfortune of seeing memes of how sad the ending of the season was but it was straight up just the Eddie guy everyone knew was going to die. His master of puppets show was awesome tho.
