God, I hate the "you should pay players based on what they have done" argument. As if that has ever really happened, especially at QB. If that were true, Tom Brady would be at the top of that list. Instead he is 16th. Why? He's old, he's on a short term deal, and his play is likely to decline. Why are we pretending player contracts arent investments for future accomplishments?

Doesn't Brady always take team friendly deals?
