The number of people who chalk up playoffs and such before games are even played based solely on who a QB is is beyond absurd. People pre-anointed the Chiefs as the best team in the division before a single game was played, and it had nothing to do with the other 52 guys active on game day. Depth and talent are the physical aspect of the game but making it to the SB 2 years in a row puts out some of your fire. Like the Dodgers against the Braves they just do not want it that bad. They have had a target on their back for a long time now and have had to face the best that every team has had. Some of it was the QB but the Chiefs have a great coach and some other great players. After the team was in back to back Super Bowls while the rest of the division has had 2 playoff appearances in 5 years saying the Chiefs should win the division at the beginning of the season was not a big stretch.
