Hopefully the networks decide to dial back some on the sad prospect stories tonight.

Yes, unless it actually leads somewhere positive and the player is involved.

Kwity Paye's story was very powerful and up lifting in the end. Finding out that a guys mom was a drug addict with not follow up was bad.

its amazing how NFL/ESPN has been able to turn the NFL draft into one of biggest sporting events on the calendar lol

Love it. And I’ve always loved the draft but they’ve made it so main stream it’s pretty incredible.

I feel like they were appropriately ripped apart for them last year. I can't believe they think it's a good idea to continue them

It is a low point for sporting events.

NCAA March madness is done.  Baseball is early in the season and 3-4+ weeks after opening day.  Basketball and NHL are winding down on their seasons and before the playoffs.

NFL popularity, media coverage and the fantasy football, daily fantasy and ability to bet on where players go (over under, specific teams, etc) certainly makes for a big draw.

By that logic, shouldn't the NBA Draft have even a portion of the publicity that the NFL does?
