y*so*blu
Good riddance for Atlanta. We may set a record for the amount of coaches fired during a season. Gase can't be long for his job either.
AFlaccoSeagulls
According to Schefter, Falcons also fired Dimitroff. I'm not an expert on the Falcons, but it was my understanding that the talent is absolutely there. What did the GM do to be fired?
rob_shadows
Little surprised Dimitoff is gone too

Dimitroff is solid though, he'll get another opportunity. As bad as this ended, I wish nothing but the best to both of them. Absolutely should have brought Atlanta their first championship. Sad ending.
TheGame316
I remember watching the Mic'd up Superbowl comeback by the Patriots and the players followed the lead of their coaches. Quinn was sheepish and panicky and unsure and his encouragement rang hollow Patriots coaches spoke with confidence Downhill ever since. Falcons were a product of Shanahan's offense

Eventually, the train derailed and his lack of drafting solid depth killed is career here.
TheKillerNacho
Seems that it will be either Morris or Koetter for interim.
AnAngryAmerican
Wow. It’s almost like hiring the hot coordinator isn’t the slam dunk hire it always appears to be. And Dimitroff got the axe as well. It’s almost like taking someone who came from New Englnsd doesn’t work out as spectacularly as it appears either. If only there was a precedent for either of those things. Edited October 12, 2020 by AnAngryAmerican
