harold landry had a higher pass rush win rate than soooo many guys who had way more sacks than him. leonard floyd, bud dupree, and haason reddick stand out as people we think of as comparable talents. we desperately need to get more talent into the front 7 because he could be a really good piece with a little more support.

Yeah, edge or a DL who can rush from inside has to be our first pick.  Honestly, I like Christian Barmore as our first.  Pass rush class is deep, and he's looking like the best player available at our pick when I'm looking.  If we can get another good interior guy that can help Simmons, that takes a lot of pressure off the edge to produce sacks.

And our run defense was awful too, so there's that.

What do people think about trading for Edelman? I know Bill likes to unload players in their last year on contract. I feel like bringing him in to use in the slot could give us great leadership and a great replacement assuming we cut hump. I feel like a move like this on offense and defense to give us some veteran leadership would be huge. I don't know who is out there for the defensive side of the ball, bringing in someone like Sherman who can be a big on field leader for us. He may be too expensive and not realistic but I think we need something like that after this last year.

I agree that this team desperately needs leadership, but think it’s more on the defensive side

Our offense needs speed, speed, and more speed

Edelman is done

He’s injured way too much and lead the league in drops last year

Titans have an Edelman on the team as far as play style and injuries but he may be released in Humphries

What do you think about Lazard if Humphries is released?

He may stay in GB or get over paid a little if he has a couple of big games the rest of the way but he would fit the mold of a Humphries type if we move on

Was thinking about our Big 3 FA's (Jonnu, Jayon and Corey Davis).

I done talked myself into thinking we won't bring any of them back.

Do you all see a scenario where we don't bring any of them back?

I can see it happening especially if we just aren’t very active in Free Agency

I can see the Titans resigning a lot of their own guys

I think we would be foolish to get rid of Jonnu

I still don’t think we seen the best he has to offer

Jayon is coming off an injury, maybe just maybe we can get him back at a reasonable price

I guess how they handle Jayon will tell us how they really feel about David Long

Davis is the interesting one

Will he price himself out or will he see the market isn’t what he thinks and he re-ups on a short deal to hit free agency again soon

I don’t think it’s high but there’s certainly a chance all three won’t be back.

Davis at this point feels as good as gone. Someone is going to give him a big contract that I just don’t think we could afford right now. Maybe he’ll come back on a “discount” but who does that, and why would he?

Jonnu is interesting. We all know his talent but he hasn’t put up big bulk numbers. Some team out there may be willing to throw him a big contract ( I’m scared of the Jags going hard at him) but I feel he’s going to be priority number 1 as far as resigning’s go. Can’t underestimate how much Vrabel loves him.

Jayon is another interesting case. Had a somewhat down year when he was out there and then his season ended prematurely. He’s not a household name to fans, so I wonder how he’s viewed/valued in league circles. Wonder if he might be slightly cheaper than expected.

I feel when it’s all said and done, we at least one of them back (leaning towards Jonnu), with an outside chance of two (Jonnu and Jayon). There’s a slight, slight chance we lose all of them and I feel it’s unfortunately a 0.1% chance of bringing them all back.

How do yall feel about breon borders? Ive seen some say they prefer him as a depth guy but i think he has potential as malcom butlers replacement.. this team is gonna have to go cheap soon and he's a prime candidate to step up and stand out.. i dont seem him as a leshaun sims kinda guy.. i think he can be a legit starting corner in the league.. he played really well during his 5-6 game stretch before he got hurt.. the cleveland game where he gave up that TD was his worst play.. other than that, he was our highest graded corner all year according to PFF with a 77 overall grade.. I think a corner team of jackson, fulton and borders as your top 3 with a 3rd to 4th round pick coming in to be your dime CB is a good scenario moving forward. those 3 with byard and hooker as the safeties makes for a secondary id be ok with moving forward with. Cruishank should be the 3rd safety...
