Minshew is the guy they should have gone for last year instead of Foles.

Lol I saw one mock by CBS (I think) that had the top 4 picks all QBs. Maybe this is just the GOAT QB class. Lol

Meh I honestly havent looked too far into them, but none pop out to me as much as Mahomes did for elite arm talent. Seems a number of toosly guys but nothing really elite about the few I've seen. WindyCity
My QB rankings 1. Trade for Deshaun 2. Trade/Sign Dak 3. Trade up Fields 4. Trade up Wilson 5. Trade up Lance 6. Mac Jones 7. Trade for Hurts/Minshew 8. Jamie Newman in rounds 2-3 Unlisted: Nick Foles, because he is a giant bag of suck.

Taking Cutler and Marshall and Trevathan and Fox. Anyone they no longer wanted. Had a coaching friend who is huge Broncos fan who used to tell me about each guy and how they would work out here and he was right on each one: Fox will keep you competitive, but will bore crap out of you and has zero imagination. Chicago will hate him. Marshall is a talented head case who you will love and hate alternatively. Cutler basically same, but in different ways. Trevathan can play, but is probably not worth a huge contract.

If there were character concerns before that, then you probably didn't have him on the board. If you didn't, you chalk that up to a lack of discipline. Agreed. In fact he turned into a bargain after that picture. This isn't a guy who had tons of character concerns and this was the icing on the cake. Nads786
If we were to get Minshew, we should talk about this trade with Foles. We want to make sure his feelings aren't hurt, George made it clear the culture of this organization is about feelings and friendship. Winning is a result of the friendships you make along the way.
malagabears
According to Jahns, one option is to use Foles as a bridge QB and draft one high. He quotes Brad Spielburger from OTC as saying Foles contract makes it a strong possibility that can't be discarded. That is absolute vomit if that happens because it practically ensures another season stuck in mediocracy or losing. Why the hell would you retain Nagy/Pace then? https://twitter.com/adamjahns/status/1352301665714642947?s=
