Not sure why I quoted you but I'd be shocked if King doesn't have a career year. It seems crazy obvious that it's coming.

Totally agree.

Really think he played hurt last year.

I miss the old pic, #bringbackCheersNorm.

Yup, always trying to put square pegs into rounds holes.  Didn't play his defense to the players strengths.

So who is this years early candidates for the blame game? There always needs to be a handful of scapegoats to blame for every lose to cover for the players that some fans idolize. Couldn't possibly be, win as a team and lose as a team.

AJ Hawk, Jarrett Bush

But it will absolutely be King. He could give up 10 recs all season and every single time he gave one of them up there will be Packers fans all around the world screaming at the TV about how much he sucks

I think the opponent CBs should give up all the passes and our CBs should give up none. Anything else is grounds for websites to fire them.

Meh, life in the NFL is game by game. King got **** on because he played the worst game of his career at the worst time, for both him and the team. He's a big boy and rightfully deserves some blame. On the other hand, you're an idiot if you blame him and no one else for the loss to TB. There were a series of plays during the game where our guy simply didn't make the block, didnt make the catch, didn't cover the guy, etc. Doesn't change the fact that King was directly responsible for 3 huge plays of the game, 2 of them resulting in 14 points, and the third ending the game.

It's up to King to get healthy, get better and prove people wrong next season. If he's wants that $100m he's always talking about, he's got another chance to earn it. I hope his best season is yet to come because we need him.

Let’s not forget that last series where our guy didn’t make the throws / read or run too. Literally everyone has some blame in that game, including Aaron Rodgers

People want to kill Pettine and King for the play before the half, but there were plays before that were equally as bad but seldom or never get brought up. Once in awhile someone will point out that if Redmond would not have drop the interception with :18 second left that Tampa would not have had a chance for the final play for the TD. The one that is never brought up is Rodgers throwing a bad INT with :34 second left in the half. That was the domino that started all of it, yet Rodgers name never comes up for shouldering any of the blame.

Yes, that turnover and score followed by another turnover off of Jones’ fumble to start the 2nd put us in a deep hole. I remember with a minute plus to go, thinking if we can get something on the board and then get the ball to start the second,  we’ll have all the momentum to double up. Turns out we gave it all to TB and still could have won the game with our D (Jaire) stepping up in the second half.  Not quite the perfect storm of 2015, but not far from it.

Seems like the Packers have more than their share of "perfect storms".  Maybe should put somebody on staff as a storm watcher?!

Obvious hold and refs missed the call.

Godell wants Brady to win SB and came up with a perfect game plan in NFFCG and SB.

Call 1st half of the games with huge favorable to TB so that they can up big and then call an even game in the 2nd half of the games(Except when the game is on the line if at all).

If you are down big against TB, then you literally become one dimensional and its tough with their pass rush and back up tackles.

Football is a long game and every one seems to forget what happened in the first half by end of the game.

Goodell didn't beat the Packers.

The Ref's didn't beat the Packers.

For the most part Tampa Bay didn't beat the Packers.

The Packers beat the Packers. Just like 2014, the Packers were the best team in football but found a way to not finish the deal.

Yep .. Packers played like crap in the championship and got beat again.  It was a very winnable game with even a solid performance, but turnovers, mental gaffes, and a cold offense in the 4th quarter sealed their fate.
