The lack of rushing attempts in the RZ is truly astonishing.

5 RBs, 54 rushing attempts total, and only Jacobs has more than 6 carries and 25 yards.

White and Brown are non-existent. Abdullah I guess returns kicks?

Beyond puzzling. I'd get the lack of usage if Jacobs was balling out bell to bell, but he's not even allowed to run after the 3rd quarter it seems.

Of all the issues this is the most critical.

Not just 0-3, but can anyone on this forum say we are better than ANY team in the NFL? Is anyone confident we would beat the Falcons, Seahawks, or Texans? I’m not. Not only are we the only 0-3 team in the NFL, we might actually be the worst team in the NFL.

This is ludicrous. We are absolutely not the worst team in the NFL, we’ve lost 3 games and there’s 14 more. If we’d looked terrible in all thre games then I’d grant this some thought but at times we’ve looked very good so it’s just bringing it all together and getting some consistency.

Man, some of you guys I’d hate to be in a real locker room with 😂😂 we’d be defeated before even taking the field judging by some of these comments 😳 time for us to show sone strength in adversity. We’ll learn a lot about this team and coaches now.

I've already learned plenty.  I'm good.  Had a belly full. We're less competent this year than last.

I'm very disappointed about this loss, but (you may not like it) I try to focus on the positive things of the game:

  • the D held the Titans offense to 0(!) points in the second half. Sure it's not enough, when you give up 24 in the first half,
but we reacted to the screen passes which hurt us in half 1.
  • pass protection from the o-line looked better and they only gave up one sack
  • pocket awareness from Carr has improved - he made some plays with his feet

The 1-2 teams have been very competitive as well. How can you say for sure we are better than any of them? Someone could put the Raiders at 32 right now with some pretty sound arguments.

It's supposition on my part for sure, but I can say for sure, absolutely sure that we are not among the worst few teams in the league.

I've watched a lot of matches already and purely IMO we are better than Washington, better than New England, better than Chicago, better than Houston, better than Arizona, better than Detroit, better than Denver, better than Pittsburgh (right now without Watt anyway) and a few more. Now, we might lose against some teams we're better than and win against teams we're worse than but having watched a pile of games I'd say we're just below average right now, but we have hope because there are several very fixable ways we can improve. Timely penalties, bad drops, costly fumbles, RZ offence, just our best players actually playing up to par and not making back-breaking mistakes, questionable play calling, running the ball more are all things that can improve though not all will of course. If, as I expect a few of those issues improve then we'll be a very competitive team. Kinda opposite of last year when we won tight games we've lost them so far this year. It's exactly the same reason a lot of us were saying we weren't a great team last year but we were scraping victories, we're not a terrible team this year, we're just grabbing defeats from the jaws of victory.

We've basically beat ourselves in all three games whereas other teams I've watched have just looked poor with few redeeming features.

Josh not being able to scheme adams open with way more weapons than packers had is sad. But it ain't just josh. It's carr to. He gets tunnel vision. Once something is working he will keep going to it no matter what. Adams and kupp got like 200 targets last year. I find it hard to believe teams didn't try to bracket them while this was going on. It's the coach and qb job to get these dudes the ball.

You do realize that Josh calls the plays?? If Adams is the third read he's not getting the ball.

Not panicking. It's a long seasons. The Raiders need to put a complete game together. When that flip eventually switches, the wins will pile up. Defense will look better once they get some players back healthy.

McDaniels needs to understand Carr is not who he's trying to make him out to be. He's not Tom Brady out there who takes command from the QB position and can throw 70% of plays. Need to dial back his pass attempts some. The offense should go through Jacobs and Zues to set things up for Carr. It's been way to predictable early on.

Carr continues to be Carr. Clear he doesn't not have another level regardless the talent you put around him. He continues to struggle in the red zone regardless of coaching and the talent he has.

Team right now lacks energy. There doesn't feel like there is any urgency in what they are doing.

So every play Hollins got a target adams was the 3rd read. What you trying to say here. Josh  calling the plays. Your reads should be based on what defense is showing. Josh isn't telling carr he has to throw to this wr on this play or else.  At least I hope not. If he is no reason to pay carr.

The 2 waller drops on would be TD's make it an RZ struggle yesterday?

Its a new offense it will take time to learn the whole thing.  Carr had no problem changing plays last year.

Yes, because if it was (QB flavor of the week), they would have parted the defense like Moses parting the Red Sea and ethereally walked forward in a beam of light to place the ball softly and comfortably into Waller's hands, gently closing his fingers around the ball while touching helmets and whispering "You da best!" before returning to their spot behind the OL and resuming live action.
