He's completely incapable of coming up with an offensive gameplan.  His playcalling is horrendous. He makes no adjustments during a game. Our QB is getting massacred and he doesn't adjust to add more protection, more screens, shorter routes, literally anything to help. He's a moron.

Oof, Well he might just be your next HC

I mean... I get this, I really do. But sometimes you need a guy who can simply command the room and hold everyone accountable for their responsibilities.

Mike Vrabel was very similar as a DC for the Texans - he had prime JJ Watt and a freak of an athlete in Jadevion Clowney along with competent parts in AJ Bouye, Kareem Jackson, Brian Cushing, DJ Reader, Vince Wilfork; He could never scheme that unit into the top 25, let alone anything better. Yet, he understood players and got them to play hard, which is why he had a bit or a run in Tennessee.

Sometimes it's about surrounding yourself with Xs and Os guys and empowering them to do their job.

And this is why I think Rivera is first guy gone - he's losing his locker room. It doesn't matter how much league circles respect you; If the 53 guys who suit up on Sunday don't like you, you're gone.

(This is further compounded by an actual possibility of a long term HC already on the sidelines...)

He lost the locker room when he didn’t got for 2 against the eagles and then said something stupid to the tune of my offense was tired. Did he expect them to recover while playing OT?

Him and del rio need to be launched to the sun, awful old head losers.

No thanks.  Fire them all.  Clean slate. I don't see the point of installing any of these guys as an interim coach.  Just let Rivera limp through the rest of the year then fire everyone.

Ditto but replace Rivera with Josh McDaniels. I wouldn't love it, but tbh I'd take a replace coaching staff of Rivera + Bienemy + Del Rio lol. I'm hoping for better though. Also I'd like Sam Howell included please if we took your coaching staff.

I feel like Raiders and Redskins/Stupid Name Team fans have suffered enough. Let us both prosper. Don’t take our staff dude. Hope for better lol

Someday people will see that offensive coaches under Reid are terrible HCs, because they're basically the elite coffeeboys of the world. Pederson is the only one that hasn't been an abject failure. Now if you're looking at his DC/ST guys, then you might have something. But his offensive coaches suck when Reid isn't holding their hands.

Ive managed to catch a few WAS games when they have been on and the one thing Ive noticed is that he is really trying to turn that KC offensive philosophy of targeting the TE a lot and not making anybody you 'go-to' #1 WR so its just 5-6 WRs running around in circles getting swapped in-out of the game a ton.

Its obvious he is trying to take what he knows from KC and apply it there, but the problem is Howell isnt Mahomes and Logan Thomas isnt Travis Kelce. Yet, they just let McLaurin essentially rot and get used like hes a random dude on their team.

Its like Beinemy overthinks and says "Hes our WR1, the defense knows that and has their best guy on him....so we cant throw it to him it will be too obvious... I know--lets draw a play up for our WR5 they will never see it coming and if it works I will look like a genius."

Its bad, from what I saw.

Raiders need to cut Mcdaniels... the most unlikable Raider era in recent memory

What a horrible hiring, no offense to the franchise itself.

I have no idea how this guy keeps convincing people he's worth anything atop an NFL team. He's truly terrible in every aspect of the job -- proved that much in his previous stint in Denver -- led a mediocre offense in New England in the meantime, & suddenly he's regained claim to a HC job?

Everyone involved in the hiring process should be questioned for poor business management. How this consistently happens to the same franchises being run by billionaire/millionaire businessmen blows my mind. It doesn't have to be a football thing. It's a leadership hire. How can intelligent businessmen consistently get that wrong?
