patriotsheatyan
In one week and one day we get the season opener. This is the kind of thing people drink raw eggs to prepare for. If this was a sports movie, one of the teams would get blown out, feel deflated, go out and get a better player with a checkered past to change their attitude, and after an inspirational speech make a comeback win week 2. Who takes this game? Chiefs or Texans?

Bearerofnews
Chiefs wont lose a game all year. That team is rolling. They will finish the year with a 13.8 avg margin of victory.
candyman93
This could be a massacre, but Watson is amazing and will keep it closer than it should be.
Trentwannabe
Chiefs by a wide margin. I think the Texans will have a good season but that won’t be evident in week 1.

Not if Bill O'Brien has anything to say about it.
AFlaccoSeagulls
I say give it one quarter before the Chiefs totally decimate the Texans' defense and Will Fuller gets injured, thus crashing any hope the Texans' passing game had. On the other hand, because of the shortened offseason and virtually no actual game experience, we could just see a 7-3 slopfest for 4 quarters.
ET80
Houston, because it's on brand to beat a team you shouldn't beat early on and then celebrate like you've accomplished something ...only to come back later in the playoffs and get doused with reality. Just like last season, Houston will win the RS game, KC will beat 'em in the playoffs...

Very on brand. 2 hours ago, AFlaccoSeagulls said: I say give it one quarter before Will Fuller gets injured, thus crashing any hope the Texans' passing game had. Nah, they have four talented injury-prone guys so that they can always run 3 WR sets. They'll tag-team like a track meet. Fuller goes into the tent, slaps Brandin Cooks' hand, and he comes out onto the field. Randall Cobb gets hit, goes into the tent, slaps Fuller's hand, and Fuller comes trotting back onto the field. Kenny Stills pulls a hammy, slaps Cobb's hand, and they trade spots. It's gonna work, guys. Lemme tell ya.
SkippyX
It should be a shootout since all of Houston's actual receivers are healthy. Note: Keke Coutee is not a receiver, he is a theory of a receiver. (yes that last line was for an audience of 2) Edited September 2, 2020 by SkippyX
August4th
I have no clue expect complete havoc in week 1 due to this odd offseason
kingseanjohn
KC. Not just for homer reasons, but the continuity of players and staff give KC the edge.
Soko
It’s going to be a shoot out IMO. Running game and defenses aside, I’m expecting a 2011-like year in terms of passing numbers. Watson and Mahomes should be in the top of that.
Uncle Buck
I don't know much about either one of these teams, other than the fact that they both have great young QBs. There shouldn't be a home field advantage anywhere for the first few weeks, but one we do still have the BoB factor in Houston, so for that reason I'm going to give KC the edge.
