Plus gives more time to be sure that someone else doesn't present with symptoms after incubation period.

Titans are reopening the facility Saturday according to sources, don't know how a league could give a team 24hrs to prepare for a game. They can practice Sat/Sun now, maybe even Monday walk through if they give them until Tuesday. That'll be a full week. This all hinges on no or minimally more positive tests though. Sure they're already being tested every day.
RuskieTitan
Oh boy. This is certainly something to monitor going forward, but having one team practice to prepare while the other cannot... well, let's hope the on-field quality doesn't suffer too greatly. kingseanjohn
Should the Titans just take the L? I almost think it'd be better than having to scramble a practice, play a game, then go into a real quick week to play Sunday. Throws the whole rhythm off and doesn't give players bodies time to recuperate between games.

The issue is if some people were positive Sat, they were with the team all Sunday and possibly Monday (not sure if they practiced Monday or had meetings). It’s not going to show up in tests for a couple days. It’s very likely some people won’t know they have it until tomorrow or Friday. You can’t bring the team back together without being sure. And if you have a hand Sunday and one person was missed by testing..... you risk being in a worse situation next week. In fact I don’t think people realize how lucky we are that it happened right after a game and not in the middle of a week

What is the threshold they're trying to reach? maybe giving them a practice day or two in the building? which would prob be nice to have before a gm lol

Yeah but they don’t get to practice or even be at the facility before that Sunday. It’s even worse if the game is Tuesday .

If the Titans aren’t practicing until they get a handle on this I’d imagine it’s to prevent a game where one team had a normal week of preparation and the other had one or no practices.
