2 QB: Love-Clifford

3 RB: Jones-Dillon-Wilson

6 WR: Watson-Doubs-Reed-Toure-Wicks-Heath

4 TE: Deguara-Musgrave-Kraft, to be added

9 OL: Bakh-Jenkins-Myers-Runyan-Tom-Nijman-Rhyan-Walker-Jones

Offense 24

6 DL: Clark-Slaton-Wyatt-Wooden-Brooks-Ford

6 EDGE: Gary-Smith-Van Ness-Hollins-Enagbare-Cox

4 ILB: Campbell-Walker-McDuffie-Carpenter

5 CB: Alexander-Valentine-Stokes-Nixon-Ballentine

5 S: Savage-Douglas-Ford-Leavitt-Johnson Jr.

Defense 26

3 ST: Carlson-O'Donnell-Orzech

Packers are a balance team on offense, so they need 3 Rb. They found that out last year. Weakest link is S. That is why I see Douglas getting switched to S. Johnson Jr. showed enough, didn't see anything from the FA S that they signed to make this roster. They are no better than Ford. Cox just showed to much upside to cut. I see them making a trade to bring in a TE at cut down.

I know we are wrapped up in the "youth movement" in Green Bay, but I just cannot get behind the decision to keep Carpenter over Wilson at ILB. Wilson is twice as good on Teams and probably 5 times as good on defense (which says a lot more about Carpenter than Wilson).

Other than Carpenter being the younger, cheaper option, I just don't see it. Wilson was our best ST player last season after we signed him.

QB:  Love.  Clifford.

RB:  Jones.  Dillon.  Taylor.

HB:  Deguara

TE:  Musgrave.  Kraft.

WR:  Doubs.  Watson.  Reed.  Heath.  Toure.  Wicks.

OL:  Bakh.  Jenkins.  Myers.  JRJ.  Tom.  Nijman.  Walker.  Rhyan.  Newman.  Jones.

Offense:  24

DL:  Clark.  Wyatt.  Slaton.  Brooks.  Wooden.  Ford.

OLB:  Smith.  Gary.  Engabare.  LVN.  Hollins.  Cox.

ILB:  Campbell.  Walker.  McDuffie.  Wilson.

CB:  Alexander. Douglas.  Nixon.  Valentine.  SJC.

S:  Savage.  Ford.  AJJ.  Owens.  Leavitt.

Defense:  26

Specials:  Carlson.  O'Donnell.  Orzech.

Specials:  3

PUP:  Stokes.  When Stokes is ready, it's probably SJC who gets put on the PS.

I don't like keeping Taylor at RB, but we kept him last year and we know him well.

Could see trying to sneak Cox onto the PS.  I wouldn't risk it, though.

Keeping 4 corners until Stokes is ready, then I'll have 5.  Till then, Savage can play corner if needed.

And one of those WR's does not look like the others.  :)

What happened to Rasul?

It's looking like it might be safe to say that Eric Stokes will be starting the season on the PUP list.

Not ideal but better to be cautious. I think the CB room can handle him being out four weeks. I do believe the new PUP rule is 4 weeks.

You only have 52 players. Room for one more.

I refuse to take criticism for keeping 6 edge defenders without acknowledgement that keeping 7 WRs and 6 safeties from this group of players is the dumbest roster allocation in the history of history.  Just about have to try to make a worse roster than Ingalls.

Dallin Leavitt isn't a safety, he's a specialist. Think Savage, Ford, Moore, AJJ are locked in, depends if they want to keep Owens or not. That's another 4.4 guy for the teams unit.

Agree on 7 WR's, we all love DuBose, but he's going to have to make it to our PS. If we lose him, so be it. End of roster guys like that have to be core teams players.

I like DuBose as a prospect, but he'll make it to the PS.  I would be truly shocked if he got poached on waivers; barely any practice time due to injury, 7th round pick, good but not eye-popping measurables - basically nothing about him fits that "gonna get stole" profile you worry about with certain cuts.

I guess you're probably right about the S group, but it's still hard to stomach using 6 roster spots on that group of players.  ST needs to pop off if we're going to use half our DB allocation on specialists.

Agreed on DuBose.  He's one of the guys fans are always saying will get claimed, but they rarely get claimed.
