He's been there a decade and the Seahawks haven't fixed the pass protection. He hasn't missed a game in the meantime. It's a legitimate gripe. Paying a good QB a boatload, a necessity in the league, doesn't mean it's a good idea to then half-*** on the offensive line who is protecting your most expensive investment. Spend resources on the o-line? Have weak skill position players. Spend resources on skill position players too? Have a weak defense. The problem is how much QBs are paid. Wilson must be thinking he'd put up stupid stats if he had Cleveland's OL. I wouldn't blame star QBs using their clout to engineer a better OL situation, at least I mean, Baker went from garbage blocking to having 3 all pros and a good rookie LT. There was gonna be improvement lol

Also, they didn't have to make that retarded draft for Jamal Adams that further nuked their draft capital. Because of other trades, they've only had 4 first round pick choices in the 9 years Wilson has been there. Only one was used on an offensive lineman, who is now in Chicago. Other QBs have gotten the big cheese. They aren't getting killed like Wilson has been. Edited February 15, 2021 by TecmoSuperJoe

None of them have a premium 2021 draft pick, definitely not in a position to add a QB. With no Russ, Seattle's 2022 draft pick is probably top 10, but goes to the Jets. Seattle would presumably get the other teams 2022 pick, but that pick would absolutely be in the mid to late 20s. Seattle wouldnt get a crack at a elite QB prospect until 2023. NO TANKS. soflbillsfan
Raiders need to focus on getting a defense together and not Wilson. While it would be an upgrade to Carr it would be more beneficial to fix a defense with the picks it would cost to bring in wilson. If Wilson was moved he may have better protection on the field but his arm will be dead midseason having to throw 50+ times because the inability to stop the opposing teams offense. Cowboys while an annoying organization could benefit from this. While it would cost 3 1st rd picks they have the upgrade at qb over dak, the cap space in which it would be cheaper to pay him then what dak is seeking and the oline and weapons for Wilson to be interested in. Not to mention a weak division in which the only real threat is Washington's dline. Saints and Bears do not seem to be likely as bears have no oline and saints are a hundred billion dollars over cap at the moment. If Jerry was smart go in there quietly and quickly make the trade, if it falls apart you have time to tag dak before the deadline in 2 weeks. With a no trade clause teams with high draft picks and a ton of capital to make the move will be blocked from Wilson, same goes with Watson. Best case scenario for both teams that have these 2 is just smooth things out and hope they show up to camp.
