  1. Past hour
  2. Nah. Let's keep the fat drunks in the stands and behind their keyboards.
  3. I don't they really like Swing tackles. I believe they'd prefer one G/T on the left and one on the right. I think they have plans for Fred Johnson on the left and Hennessey in the three middle spots. They either need a RG/RT reserve or someone to supplant Steen and he becomes that guy.
  4. Isn't it basically 2 years 40 mil moving to the other team?
  5. Yes elite prospects fuaga makes a difference on the line that steen would not
  6. Have they said what position he’s expected to play yet? I like him more as a G than as a T. I never saw him at 25 in terms of ability, but it’s not a huge reach. I had him in that 35-45 range personally. More than anything I’m surprised you guys passed on Cooper DeJean. He seemed like an obvious fit for you guys.
  7. Personally I’d love to get either AD Mitchell or one of JPJ or Frazier but not sure any of them will be there. If not, CB Max Melton or Sainristil, DT Ruke or Maason Smith would all be great additions.
  8. Pathetic. Why would we ever draft a QB? Maybe because we're speaking of a GM/HC in the NFL and Not a toddler. One of both constantly evaluates their Options and choices - the other one maybe just really warnt that one red Balkon and nothing else. Decide for yourself, which one is which.
  9. Do you trust him to go easy on the liquor while in NE Wisconsin though?
  10. When I was in undergrad at U. of Mich I drank a lot of kool-aid mixed with vodka, so this tracks.
  11. Jordan love sat for THREE years though, and he still isn't a sure thing. Green Bay fans were talking half way through the season about how he was making such great "progress." How long does he need to go with the progress? He is going into his fifth year in the league next year. Compare that to Penix, who has played six years in college (because of Covid). He should come in far closer to being a finished product than Jordan Love was. He isn't going to need to ride the pine for three years of his rookie contract. He will probably sit next year, and half of the following year, but I sure don't see them resigning Kirk to another big contract. Would it be nice if Penix was a couple years younger? Sure, but it's not like they won't get a lot of good years out of him. They could have looked at a younger prospect if they are going to sit him for a couple of years, but they probably really liked Penix and he was "their guy." I can understand that. Go with Kirk for a couple of years. Win a bunch of regular season games. Even that is something the Falcons fans have been able to enjoy for a while. Then, in a couple of years, Penix can come in and they will actually have a shot at some regular season AND post season success. It's worth the investment in my eyes.
  12. Oh yeah for sure, Ewers is trash and that's the actual upside for Worthy. Having a QB with the ability to use his long speed can be a game changer the number of throws were him (or Mitchell for that matter) are open and aren't complete is bad. I also think, as you and others said, that ball placement didn't help him. I also think that he's not going to run past defenders like he did he college in the NFL. Defenses are too good individually and schematically. So he's going to need to find ways to win besides that, through route running - which I found inconsistent in college, but it's not abnormal for a 20 year old - and YAC. He definitely has YAC ability, but with Rice and, this year at least, Brown in the team, will he have the opportunities at least year 1. I also wonder how he will fare against press in the NFL honestly, though I'm sure Andy will find opportunities to scheme against it.
  13. hes probably my favorite WR remaining. i would be devasted if he ended up with a division rival.
  14. I do agree, DeJean fits better in a zone scheme and we need man 2 man guys, but you have to hopeKool aid can adapt (which I think he def can)
  15. Circumstance is a definite factor too. Rome probably has the best QB of the three, and will benefit as a rookie learning from two studs. Look at how much Moore jumped in production going from CAR’s bums to an average-at-best passer in Fields.
  16. If we can get another impact defender and a wideout today
  17. Payton and Paton are well known for their intricate strategies the rest of us don't fully grasp...
  18. Perhaps if he’d become a totally different person.
  19. This was my exact thought after the 1st round ended last tonight.
  20. To edit my own post a bit, I would also be okay with: Round 2: Blake Fisher (would have started at LT for most college teams/only was the RT at Notre Dame due to Joe Alt also being there/Day 1 starter at RT, probably solidifies the position for the next 5 years minimum/fills a need) Round 3: Cam Hart (Telasco apparently has a soft spot for Notre Dame players/Notre Dame lost to OSU last season, but Hart was matched up against MHJ all game and pretty much shut him down/fills a need) Round 4: BPA Round 5: BPA Round 6: BPA Round 7: BPA
