Deadpulse Posted October 15, 2020 Share Posted October 15, 2020 Nomination phase will be ONE thread. Each poster will get 30 nominations with NO limitations on what shows to nominate. Anywhere from Game of Thrones to Late Night with Stephen Colbert to Good Morning America to The Simpsons. These 30 nominations need to be in ORDER of your favorite to least favorite show. The 1st nomination on your list will garner 30 points, the 2nd will get 29 and so on. The top 64 shows in terms of point totals will move on to the bracket phase and seeded based again on that point total. Things to keep in mind: Please list out your nominations VERTICALLY as such: The Simpsons Game of Thrones The Sopranos Please be deliberate in your spelling and punctuation! This will be MUCH easier on me if you guys can remain uniform so I will ask you use official titles, double check your spelling, correct punctuation, and capital letters where appropriate. In the google sheet I set up to help me calculate the points, Game Of Thrones will show up as a different show than Game of Thrones. I know I will likely have to do some editing, but please help me out where you can! PLEASE DO NOT GO BACK AND EDIT. Post a new post telling me what the changes are. I WILL MISS YOUR EDITS. Like, the top few are pretty easy, but after that, it was really hard to parse out my actual favorites from so many shows that I watched on and off for years. 01. South Park-Easy top choice, been my favorite show for decades 02. Breaking Bad-Probably a better show, but eh 03. Good Eats-My favorite cooking show 04. Jeopardy-My favorite game show, watched on and off my whole life 05. Adventure Time-This will be cartoon heavy 06. Futurama-Better than The Simpsons. Fight me. 07. Seinfeld-The best sitcom you'll find. 08. Cheers-Close though. 09. Chappelle's Show-It's not fair that this show was taken from us. Best sketch show ever. 10. Rick and Morty-Hasn't missed yet. 11. The Office-Long running sitcom that was untouchable in its prime. 12. Cowboy Bebop-Not a huge anime fan, but this is a masterpiece. 13. Aqua Teen Hunger Force-College. 14. Better Call Saul-Until the last couple seasons, it was legit better than BB, but it fell off a bit. 15. Rocko's Modern Life-Held up better than most other shows from my childhood. 16. Stranger Things-Only a few seasons, but they're damn near perfect. 17. Bob's Burgers-Hard to put it this low. Great show. 18. Black Mirror-A few misses, but mostly a stellar show. 19. It's Always Sunny-Man, it's weird ranking this low. Danny goddamn Devito. 20. Key and Peele-My second favorite sketch show. 21. The Daily Show-Not great now, but the run with Jon Stewart was special. And it gave the world Colbert. 22. Frasier-Best spinoff ever, maybe. 23. Game of Thrones-The last two seasons are garbage, and that's a quarter of the show. 24. Arrested Development-The new seasons were just OK. 25. Broad City-All around great show. 26. Community-Harmon is a boss. 27. Curb Your Enthusiasm-Larry David is also a boss. 28. Doug-Loved the hell out of this show as a kid. 29. Batman: The Animated Series-Also a great childhood show. 30. Parks and Rec-Funny stuff. HM: The Mandalorian (it's just one season), and Scrubs, which just didn't hold up to time for me. Also One Punch Man was on here, then I remembered it had a second season, so nevermind.
