Two of the best movies ever made are in that group and do not even get a freaking nomination? Wow. 12 Angry Men then no question if there are only TWO to pick from. Clearly some are getting worn down on the process, and last one is coming up so it is all pretty close to over in the nomination part. MacReady Posted July 4, 2020 Share Posted July 4, 2020 I love Bridge on the River Kwai for only two reasons: Alec Guiness was the Gary Oldman of his time (best actor hands down). William Holden was the Jared Harris of his time (most underrated actor hands down). Not a fan of the story or the film in general. 12 Angry Men was more enjoyable to me.
