I think Mike explained who was eligible in the Guidelines Extensions Players must be currently under contract. Acquired player status in the roster sheet must be labeled “Original” or “Traded”. Multiple Bills sites talk about him as a likely restructure candidate. It may have to do with the void years already on the contract ?? Who is your player in question ?? Thank you, makes sense now, sucks when the contract sucks and they only meet one of the reasons under the list and they could be extended if they didn't meet that one reason. The guys I wanted to extend have 4 years left on their contract so they couldn't be extended, but if they get traded to a new team they can be.
