Free Agency workbooks are open again and ready for Round 6

Remember that all reserve contracts that pass QA will be looked at to see if they are the winning offer, so remember to double check your reserve bids as the names will need to be adjusted because of the decrease in APY and CL.

McKinnon and Henry should make for a nice combination out of the backfield for Tennessee.

That's a great pairing. McKinnon was I guy I wanted but ultimately couldn't afford. He and Henry would fit great together.

With tbe bulk of free agency wrapping up, Im going to turn my rumors to the draft. Feel free to send me trade and draft pick rumors especially for the 1st half of Round 1

Rumor - Texans may trade their 1st round pick for a QB! Oh wait...

TOP 16 DRAFT RUMORS

-The buzz out of the Cleve is that the Browns really like all 3 QB's (Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield) leading me to believe they will take Barkley at 1 and take whichever of those 3 QB's fall to #4.

-The Jets traded up for Baker Mayfield. He will be the pick at #2 if he is available.

-The Colts covet S/LB Derwin James. If they don't get a trade partner I am hearing he will be the pick at #3

- The Raiders traded up for a defensive playmaker. Their dream list includes Mincah Fitzpatrick or Tremaine Edwards

-The Giants will reportedly take a QB if he is BPA, but really want Tremaine Edwards

-The Dolphins traded up for a QB but are not big fans of Josh Allen. I would not be surprised to see them move up a 2nd time.

- The Steelers traded up to find a replacement for Ryan Shazier. This will be the furthest RoQuan Smith with fall

- The Broncos may try to continue to work their way down the board. I hear they like the value in the late teens more than in the top 10

-The 49ers are looking for weapons for Jimmy G. This could be a likely landing spot for Calvin Ridley.

- After trading down, the Bucs are going to continue to build their defense, especially their defensive backfield.

-After inexplicably trading AJ Green don't be surprised that the Bengals will covet and try and move for Calvin Ridley

-Even with Alex Smith in the fold, I'm hearing QB is very much on the mind of Washington. Josh Allen won't slide further than this.

- The Packers are desperate for pass rush in this draft. I hear they really like Harold Landry at pick 14.

-The Cardinals need offensive weapons and offensive line. I think the run starts here for OT and that Conner Williams could be the Cardinals choice

- I am hearing the Ravens have a first round grade on RB Ronald Jones and will sprint to the podium to draft him at 16.

Round 6 Free Agency Bidding (50% APY decrease)

  • Deadline to have contracts created – Sun, Mar 4th @ 9pm

  • FA Bidding Results - Sun, Mar 4th @ 10pm

Note:  NFL Combine ends - Mon, Mar 5th

FREE AGENCY NEWS

Now that the contract restriction for signing reserved players is lifted, I expected to see a lot more players being signed, but right now only 10 contracts are scheduled to be retained by the previous team.

Also, with player contracts being reduced by half teams are filling voids as 40 players as of now plan to sign.

Some quality veterans are gearing up for one last run with teams that have managed to control their spending in the earlier rounds.

FREE AGENCY NEWS

With close to two hours until the deadline, a few more teams have entered the free agency war as now over 50 players are slotted to sign contracts tonight.  Increasing the number of resigns to 16.

Roughly 6 million is looking to be spent league wide this round.  A drastic decrease in spending from the previous rounds.

90% of the contracts created will win, leaving 10% of the teams looking to the next round and draft to fill the voids that they missed out on in this round.

13 teams still have yet to put a bid on anyone and one team as is every week has an offer on a player but it just isn't high enough to pull him away.

-I'm hearing this is the round that QB Case Keenum finally finds a home and it is going to be a place that could absolutely affect the first round of the draft.

- Blake Bortles, however, won't be so lucky. His wait will continue.

-The position that will get the most action this round is on the defensive line. Several players that can start for teams will sign this week.

-I'm hearing Cliff Avril is one of the guys who will find a new home.

-S Darien Stewart is also set to cash in on this round.
