We always like to start the draft after the combine and the draft phase of the mock last about 14 days, give or take. Ideally, I'd like to start it on the 7th of March. We'll have to take the weekend of the 18th off because of St. Patrick's day is on that Friday. Most of us can't recall the weekend after several nights of drinking...haha. @EaglesPeteC Our norm is we start each day at 10am and close at 10pm. Each round of the draft has a timeslot of 40 minutes to make your selection. I've seen other mocks that try to mirror IRL, shaving off time as the later rounds start. We can do this if you guys want but I've always found that the later rounds is when we noobs need the extra time to make our selection. Super Bowl is on Tuesday the 12th, so I'd like to officially kick the first phase of the mock off on the 14th of this month. That gives @EaglesPeteC & @RedGold Monday to sober up. I'll also be doing my annual pick'em, where the member who picks the winning team and the closest to the actual score is awarded 1M to add to their team's cap. As long as we get through 5 or 6 rounds of free agency before the real thing starts, we'll be fine. So I'm going to set it up so that you can edit the first two columns in the roster sheet, ONE (2023) so that you can use the drop downs to see what releases do to your cap. However, this is going to make it a bit more difficult for me to manage. I'm going to add a column of checkboxes that I'll use to track transactions so I'll know if it's me or you that made the change. We'll start the mock draft the Tuesday after the SB but if I can get everything set up we can start trading and cutting players earlier.
