In this thread we will be deciding the 3rd entrant into the FF Best Movie Ever Tournament - Drama movie from the 1990s!

Toss up between Saving Private Ryan and LA Confidential. SPR gets the slight nod.

Fargo, Pulp Fiction, and Saving Private Ryan are all pretty close for me.  All 3 are probably in my all time top 10, or just outside of it.

Forrest Gump is awful btw.

I would say this is the hardest vote to make so far in the competition, absolutely stacked field.

I like Pulp Fiction, but it's overrated. I'd put at least 6 of the other nomination ahead of it.

I threw war movies into action for the purposes of this. Westerns too. Otherwise drama just becomes too bloated.

I don't disagree with this, but it just means you are essentially playing the Super Bowl in R1 of this tournament IMO.
