Still haven't watched S3 - all in all, I love the concept of shows starting with a fresh, new story. I think they call those shows Anthologies? I don't know... or care enough to know. South Park started to turn into "let's see how controversial we can get" around S5, I think? It was still entertaining, very funny... but it just didn't resonate with me that much. But...those first few seasons were golden. South Park it is. We'll see what happens next round, because I don't see this run lasting very long. More current events type controversy is what I meant. Cartman Gets an Anal Probe is going to stand the test of time. Chimpokomon is a great episodes, but sorta needs an understanding of the Pokemon craze back then, you know? In a vacuum, it might not make sense, y'know? THE DUKE Posted December 14, 2020 Share Posted December 14, 2020 True Detective might have the best 4 episode run (1-4 of season 1) but everything after that through season 2 is utterly unremarkable. I never got around to season 3. S1E4 OF TD is probably in my top 10 all time single episodes of any show though. South Park gets my vote here and I'm not even that big in South Park.
