Hundreds of eligible bachelors hoping to be the belle of the ball and be chosen to be part of an NFL Franchise and likewise we here at FFMD are looking to bring together hopeful men with the teams they love. WELCOME TO NFL DRAFT MATCH.COM!!!!! Our First eligible team, is the ARIZONA CARDINALS Their turn ons include, ungodly dry heat, being kicked out of the NFC East and commandeering all of the Texans' best players. The Cardinals are being matched with the bachelor @HoboRocket Our Next eligible team is the ATLANTA FALCONS Their turn ons include blowing 25 point leads in the Super Bowl The Atlanta Falcons are being matched with the bachelor @scar988 The next eligible team is the BUFFALO BILLS Their turn ons include chicken wings, epically long playoff droughts and collectively hating on the QB the drafted and then turning around and loving him when he becomes an MVP candidate. The Buffalo Bills are being matched with the bachelor @Trentwannabe The next eligible team is the BALTIMORE RAVENS Their turn ons include crabs (both kinds) and having a running back for a quarterback The Baltimore Ravens are being matched with the bachelor @baltimoreRebel Next, the CAROLINA PANTHERS Their turn ons include making their entire offense one Running back and BBQ with vinegar for some apparent reason The Panthers are being matched up with bachelor @bcb1213 The next lonely hearts club team is the Cincinnati Bengals Their turn ons include chilli on top of spaghetti, perpetually picking in the top 5, and never wearing protection to their franchise QB The Bengals are being matched up with @Johnny Nix Next the Cleveland Browns Their turn ons include not being Detroit, losing their team and then getting it back again and being named after a color that don't even match the color on their helmet Because the Browns can't deal with not being able to satisfy just one person, they have 2 GM's @cortes02 and @NudeTayne Next up, the CHICAGO BEARS Their turn ons include pizza that you have to eat with a fork, pretending it is still 1985 and passing on Mahomes and Watson for Mitch Trubisky. The Chicago Bears are being matched up with the bachelor @MikeT14 Up next is the eligible bachelor THE DALLAS COWBOYS Their turn ons include giant hats, generally ignoring their defense and calling themselves "America's Team" even though they haven't won a single meaningful game in a quarter of a century. The Dallas Cowboys are being matched with @D82 And now, the DENVER BRONCOS Their turn ons include legalized narcotics, living in a place that is literally too high up to even breathe right and despite having a hall of fame QB as a GM, not being able to scout a QB if their lives depended on it. The Denver Broncos are being matched with @BowserBroncos Up next is the DETRIOT LIONS Their turn ons include being the place where cars are made, going 0-16 and delicious, delicious kneecaps The Detroit Lions will be matched up with @Superduperman Next up is the GREEN BAY PACKERS Their turn ons include trading up for QB's even though they still have Aaron Rodgers, never drafting WR's and CHEESE!!!! The Green Bay Packers will be matched up with @MaximusGluteus Next is the Houston Texans Their turn ons include reminding everyone every second that "everything is bigger here", getting rid of all their best players and being the only team more of a mess than my Eagles. The Houston Texans will be matched up with @elfman1955 Our next eligible team is the INDIANAPOLIS COLTS Their turn ons include making QB's retire too early, Philadelphia Eagles leftovers and anything and everything Peyton Manning related. The Colts will be matched up with @RTTRUTH Next is the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS Their turn ons include being forced to trade away most of their good players, frequent trips to London, and it being so hot that you sweat from just peeling an orange. The Jaguars are being matched with @JiffyJag Next is the Kansas City Chiefs Their turn ons include Patrick Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes and, oh did I mention Patrick Mahomes? The Chiefs will be matched up with @Leoric Next up is the Las Vegas Raiders Their turn ons include hiring TV personalities as GM's, moving cities every decade and legalized prostitution The Raiders will be matched up with the luscious bachelor @NYRaider And now up on the docket is the LOS ANGELES CHARGERS Their turn ons included being the team that LA really doesn't want The Chargers have matched up with the dashing @carrolljcmc Our next eligible team is the LOS ANGELES RAMS Their turn ons include kicking Jared Goff to the curb, never picking in the first round and only scoring 3 points in the Super Bowl. The Rams will be taking home @sparky151 And now we bring to the table the MIAMI DOLPHINS Their turn ons include Cuban cuisine and tanking for Tua and then immediately regretting that decision The Dolphins will be enjoying a nice long walk on the beach with @mountainpd And now the MINNESOTA VIKINGS Their turn ons including saying "skol" obnoxiously, giving average QB's fully guaranteed contracts and replaying the Minnesota Miracle until they can no longer stand up. The Vikings will be leaving the dance with @Uncle Buck And now we have the prom queen that got fat after high school, the New England Patriots Their turn ons include filming practices, deflated balls and losing to Nick Foles in the Super Bowl The New England Patriots turn on their camera for @Ghostnote and will be assisted by @Deadpulse Our next eligible franchise is the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS Their turns ons include restructuring contracts, throwing slants to Michael Thomas and gumbo. The Saints find their soul mate in @whodatOL And now the NEW YORK GIANTS Their turn ons include saying they are New Yorkers when they are actually in New Jersey, Dave Gettleman hog mollies and wasting the prime of Saquan Barkley. The Giants are getting double teamed by the duo of @ny92mikeand @rackcs now we have the NEW YORK JETS Their turn on includes having people hearing they are from New York, assuming they are Giants' fans and then watch people get sad for them when they have to admit they root for the Jets. The Jets only have eyes for the one and only @KingOfNewYork Next up are the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES Their turn ons include cheesesteaks, ruining franchise QB's and closing their eyes and wishing it was perpetually 2017. The Eagles will be going home with the belle of the ball and dashingly handsome @EaglesPeteC Now we have that other team from Pennsylvania the PITTSBURGH STEELERS Their turn ons include obnoxiously waving laundry, getting Mason Rudolph's skull bashed in and staring deep into Mike Tomlin's crazy eyes. The Steelers have given their rose to @Cbrunn And now we have the SAN FRANSICO 49ERS Their turn ons include Rice O'Roni, putting their handsome QB on IR and never adequately replacing Steve Young The 49ers' believe that not only is two is better than 1 but that 3 is a crowd, so you might as well invite 4 and make it a party and they will be going home with @Forge @Justone2 @N4L @JIllg Next up we have the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Their turn ons including rainy weather, having a head coach that looks like he runs a kids karate studio and never letting Russ cook. This year we have an awesome team of mods that will help run this and make it work smoother. This year we have broken the responsibilities up by division, so you all have a mod assigned to your favorite team to help: - answer questions -check for inactivity (this mod will have the ability to make a selection or assign a new GM if the selected GM goes AWOL) -assist with any issues in your war room or with the mock - give inside information to the Rumor Mill Thread @EaglesPeteC- GM Mock Draft Thread and AFC East @Deadpulse- AFC North and NFC West @MikeT14- NFC East and AFC South @Danger- NFC South @Ragnarok- NFC North @Scoundrel- AFC West The GM will be responsible for: -Make selections -Finalizing trades -Setting up and managing the Subforum War Room Additional Information War Room The Subforum War Rooms are an essential part of this mock draft. At the end of the day, the goal of FFMD is to bring draft discussion and intrigue to all subforums on this site. We want and encourage discussion. We want to give each GM the autonomy to run his war room and team however he wants, but we would like to share a few best practices that can help keep your war room active and happy. Above all else communication is key. As the GM you get to decide how your war room is run but clearly communicate it to your members, so everyone knows the deal from the beginning. Here are a few suggestions of ways to run your war room: a) Community Vote: All members of the forum who want to weigh in get a voice and you make a decision based what wanted by the majority in your forum. b) GM Gets Final Say: All members of the forum are able to weigh in and try and convince the GM of who they should take, but at the end of the day it’s the GM’s call and he’ll take who he wants. c) Each Member of the Staff Makes a Selection: Before the draft begins, you can decide who on your staff gets final say for each of your team’s picks and he makes that selection no matter what everyone else thinks. You can come up with different ways of doing it as well, but the essential thing is that your plan gets communicated from the start of the mock. Doing that and being a clear communicator will make it much easier for all involved. Making a Selection Make sure that if someone other than the appointed GM makes a selection that is clearly stated in your team’s war room before the pick is made in case there is a discrepancy - the draft order and selections will be updated in the doc and not in the op of the thread because it is way easier. If you don’t like it…..um sorry. It cuts our work significantly. Props to @ny92mike for the doc. -Please post the players full name, position and school -hype, pictures, gifs and general tomfoolery while making your selection is HIGHLY encouraged -Salary Cap and Free Agents All IRL Free Agents by the time this mock begins will stay as free agents. If a free agent is signed IRL during the mock, the team can add him to their roster if they want. There is no signing of free agents during this mock. There is no salary cap, so factor that in when making trades. Pick and Player Trading There is no trade council and no trades will be vetoed unless there is obvious collusion. If someone makes a bad trade, then we will all laugh at them together. That is part of the fun. Please post trades in the trade thread and the other team must accept. When trading draft picks, please put the round and pick number to make it easier for us. When trading players, put the full name and position. Rumor Mill The FFMD team will be filling the rumor thread with inside information (or total lies) from the war rooms to build intrigue through out the mock. Help us out, send PM’s with leaks of information (or complete lies) to help that content following. If you would like to be a writer for FFMD, send @EaglesPeteC a pm. Depth Chart Post a depth chart in the depth chart thread and keep it up to date with roster moves, draft picks and trade block. That NE forfeited pick is throwing all the numbers out by one afterwards, I wonder if it would be best to remove it so they match what is being presented irl on most sites? According to OTC, NFL.com dolphins have pick number 231 whilst tankathon which I presume you are mirroring shows 232. Either way this is not showing in the draft order on the docs. Tankathon covers all selections and provides what natural of each selection. Since Patriots' 3rd round selection is forfeited it is 243rd selection (242nd overall pick). It is up to Pete or his upper company to keep the forfeited selection or not. If kept, it is 243 (21st pick in that round for Colts). Saints and Raiders forfeited picks are reinstated. I still have to adjust the time slot times etc to reflect that. I adjusted the doc to reflected the Raiders/Cards Rodney Hudson trade and the Raiders Seahawks Gabe Jackson trade. @whodatOL @NYRaider @HoboRocket @animaltested please all check the doc to see that your picks look correct.
